TATTOO APPLICATION
How are the temporary tattoos applied?
First, remove the clear, protective top sheet. Place the tattoo in the desired area, with the image side facing your skin. Press a wet towel, paper towel, or sponge to the back side of the tattoo for 30-60 seconds. Slowly remove paper backing from skin. Allow the tattoo to dry before touching or covering it with clothing.
How are the temporary tattoos removed?
TO REMOVE TATTOO, SATURATE COTTON SWAB OR SOFT CLOTH WITH EYE MAKEUP REMOVER, BABY OIL OR RUBBING ALCOHOL. APPLY
LIBERALLY TO THE TATTOO SURFACE. FOR BEST RESULTS, LET SOAK FOR 1 MINUTE. GENTLY MASSAGE THE TATTOO IN A CIRCULAR MOTION.
BE PATIENT, DO NOT SCRUB. REPEAT PROCESS AS NEEDED. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE WITH SOAP AND WATER!
How long do the tattoos last on skin?
Our temporary tattoos typically last at least 3-5 days. The length of time may vary, depending on how and where it is applied. To make the most out of your tattoo, be sure to apply it to clean, dry skin that is free of oil, lotion or make-up. Try to choose a smooth, hair-free area of skin that doesn’t crease or stretch when you move. Also, the tattoo will last longer if it is applied to a part of your body that doesn’t rub against straps or clothing. Once applied, the tattoos are waterproof, so they won’t come off in the shower, pool or with soap and water.
Are temporary tattoos safe for application on my skin?
All of the temporary tattoos we manufacture are safe and non-toxic. See our product safety page for more information.
SIZING
What sizes can temporary tattoos be made in?
Classic tattoos are available in sizes starting at 38 x 38 mm. Metallic, glitter and glow tattoos are available starting at 50 x 50 mm. The largest size we offer is 625 x 1000 mm.
IMPRINT DETAILS
What is the difference between imprint size and trim size?
A 3mm inch margin between the printed image and the edge of the paper, on all four sides, is required for all custom temporary tattoos. Therefore the custom temporary tattoo itself is 6mm smaller than the paper size selected (example – a 50 x 50 mm tattoo has a 44 x 44 mm imprint area). This applies to any custom temporary tattoo size you order.
How many colors can be used?
All temporary tattoos are printed in full color, using CMYK 4-color process, so your design can have as many colors as you would like! Free, added-value white ink options are offered at no additional cost.
WHITE OPTIONS
What are the custom temporary tattoo white effect options?
We offer three white ink options:
• No white ink: Your tattoo image will be printed as-is. Any white areas of the design will be clear when applied to the skin, and your skin color will show through.
• Spot white ink: Your tattoo image will be printed with white ink only on the white areas of the tattoo design. When the tattoo is applied to the skin, the white areas will be white.
• Flood white ink: The entire tattoo image is printed with white ink in the white areas, and also behind the color. When the tattoo is on paper, the image will appear milky. When the tattoo is applied to the skin, the colors will be vibrant and the white areas will be white.
(Please note that white inks may not be available on all specialty tattoo designs)
CUSTOM PRINTED TATTOO BACKING
Can I have my website or other information printed on the back of my custom temporary tattoos?
Yes! We will print your website (or QR code), social media accounts, promotion codes or any other information in black ink, free of charge! A color back is available for an additional charge.
ARTWORK
What artwork formats do you accept for custom temporary tattoos?
We can work with any type of digital file you have available. We prefer files to be high resolution, color-corrected CMYK. If the file is a .jpg, .tiff, or .psd, please be sure they are at least 300dpi at the size you want printed. Vector .eps, and .ai files should have the fonts outlined or sent in with the art. In general, .tiff files and images taken straight from a website are too poor in quality and resolution to make a nice temporary tattoo, but we will work with you to ensure you get the best quality printed tattoo possible.
Are there any charges for artwork touch-ups or set-up for custom temporary tattoos?
There are never any additional charges for touch-ups or set-up of your artwork.
PACKAGING
How are my custom and in-stock temporary tattoos packaged?
Each custom temporary tattoo is individually cut to size and has a clear, protective cover. Custom temporary tattoos are bundled in quantities of 200 and bulk bagged.

Can I request samples before placing an order?
